Two people, one question
Most episodes will be the conversations from the quarterly, heard in full: the pauses, the pushback, the parts that do not fit on the page.

In production · Launching December 2026
Conversations worth hearing.
The audio and video companion to AdaptivesTM, our quarterly publication. Both launch in December 2026, and new episodes follow monthly.
What it will sound like
This is the shape we are building towards. It will change once the first conversations are in the can.
Most episodes will be the conversations from the quarterly, heard in full: the pauses, the pushback, the parts that do not fit on the page.
We want to record in the places the work happens: a classroom in Belém, a dinner in Lagos, a workplace in São Paulo. The room is part of the story.
Sometimes two guests will talk mostly to each other. Every episode will be edited, so nobody has to sit through a raw call.
The plan for season one
The first episode is released with the Amazon Issue in December 2026, then one a month. Each is a full conversation, recorded properly and edited. Titles and guests below are working ideas, not bookings.
Episode 01 · Not yet recorded
Why we started Adaptives
Why we started Adaptives
Russell Rogers on the idea behind the publication and the podcast. Released with the Amazon Issue.
Who gets to define sustainability?
A working title, from the Amazon Issue
Can the Amazon prosper without becoming somewhere else?
A working title, from the Amazon Issue
Why one recording
The idea is to capture each conversation once, well, with releases and a transcript. From there it can become the written feature, the episode, the video, and the clips people share, in both languages.
One recorded conversation
We are looking for guests, for two people who should be in the same room, and for people who want to help produce it. Tell us, and tell us if you want to hear the first episode the day it is out.
