North America
Adaptive in North America.
North America is home to many of the relationships from which Adaptive first grew, including members, faculty, entrepreneurs and institutional connections across the United States.
Philadelphia
Where Adaptive took root.
Established in 2023, Adaptive grew from Philadelphia: community evenings, Wharton-adjacent gatherings, and the first relationships that later became the Adaptive Global Fellowship, a volunteer faculty and a community across continents.
Faculty, mentors and supporters based in North America now contribute teaching, mentorship and sponsorship to fellows working in other regions.
Gatherings
In Philadelphia and beyond.

Community Meet Up, Philadelphia

Wharton Event, Downtown Philadelphia
The community returned downtown alongside the Wharton Africa Business Forum, November 2025.
Alumni community gathering, Stanford

Interns to Fellows

Cross-region
Relationships should travel.
The goal is not isolated regional clubs. Relationships in North America connect to Brazil, Nigeria and elsewhere: a faculty member in the United States mentoring a Fellow in Belém, or a gathering in Philadelphia helping to fund a Fellowship place in Lagos.
